It’s a new year and a new administration, which means new challenges for even the most experienced Human Resources professionals.  This seminar will review new laws and recent decisions that are certain to impact Washington and Oregon employers.  We will also look at some of the changes that employers can expect with the beginning of the Trump administration, including possible changes to wage and hour, workplace safety, and labor laws.  This seminar will provide strategies to help your business manage the consequences of these new developments.

    Event Schedule:

    •  8:30 a.m. -- Registration + Continental Breakfast
    •  9:00 a.m. -- Program
    • 10:00 a.m. -- Q & A
    • 10:15 a.m. -- Event Ends

    Guest Speakers from Ogletree Deakins:

Howard Rubin is the Co-Managing Shareholder in the firm’s Portland office.  Howard has represented public and private employers in employment and labor law matters for nearly 30 years.

Ursula Kienbaum is Of Counsel in the firm’s Portland Office.  Ursula has represented public and private employers in employment and labor law matters in the Pacific Northwest since 2004.
