Moss Adams Receives Prestigious When Work Works Award

Every June YVHRA hosts a Summer Membership Appreciation Event to thank our members for their contribution and participation in helping enhance our small HR community for the past year. On the evening of June 24th, over 53 attendees (members and their families) joined together at the Yakima Valley Museum which is located in Yakima’s Franklin Park that “offers historical exhibits on the Yakima Valley including its natural history, Plateau cultural objects, pioneer life, early city life, and the roots and development of the Valley’s fruit industry.” The attendees had the opportunity to tour the museum at no cost, then were able to enjoy the rest of their evening with a BBQ, bouncy houses, play toys and a raffle that benefited the SHRM Foundation. YVHRA feels this family time is valuable to our members and we enjoyed seeing everyone come together for a few hours after work.

Work-life balance is extremely important to our members and employees, and that is no exception to Moss Adams, who was awarded a When Work Works award during this event for its use of effective workplace strategies to increase business and employee success.  As a 2016 WWW Award Winner, Moss Adams has excelled at creating an effective workplace yielding tremendously positive results for business success, as well as for their employees’ well-being and productivity.  Congratulations to Lindsey Nolan and the entire Moss Adams team!
