Why Certify? Presented by Dr. Alexander Alonso

Why Certify? Presented by Dr. Alexander Alonso

The Washington State Human Resources Council, in partnership with the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), is pleased to announce that Dr. Alexander Alonso, VP of Research for SHRM, will be visiting Anchorage, Portland, and Washington State between March 7 – 10, 2016. To be sure Dr. Alonso’s presentations are as accessible as possible to local HR professionals; all three state councils in the Northwest will be hosting a presentation during his visit. During his visit to each location, Dr. Alonso will do a presentation about the value of certification for HR professionals.

Dr. Alonso’s presentations will discuss the research that led to the development of the SHRM Body of Competency and Knowledge. He will also provide some compelling reasons why HR professionals would want to become certified.

You can find more information about Dr. Alonso’s Washington State presentations here. Please be sure to register in advance for the presentation you plan to attend. We look forward to seeing you in March!
