Roshelle Pavlin - 2017 MAC Representative for the Pacific West Region

Congratulations to Roshelle Pavlin for being elected as the 2017 MAC Representative for the Pacific West Region.

The Membership Advisory Council (MAC) serves as an interface between the volunteer leaders and the SHRM Board of Directors. The MAC is composed of one elected representative from each of the Regional Councils. The MAC provides input from the membership through the regional councils to the board and feedback from the board to the membership, back through the regional councils; and provides operational input to SHRM to ensure optimum service & support to and from the volunteer leadership.

Over the past 20 years Roshelle has held many different roles as an HR professional.  Shortly after she began her first job in HR as a benefits administrator, Roshelle accepted a position serving on the board of the Coachella Valley chapter of the Professionals in Human Resources Association (PIHRA).  Since then she has held a variety of leadership roles at the chapter, state and regional levels.  During the past year, Roshelle has served as the Director of the Washington State HR Council.  She is an inspiring leader who is passionate about the role of HR, and knows how to bring out the best in those around her.

Congratulations Roshelle!  We know you will be an amazing advocate for all SHRM Volunteer Leaders throughout the Pacific Northwest.
